Ten teams will be playing at this year’s IPL. They are split into two groups of five each. There will be a total of 74 league matches between the 10 IPL 2023 teams. Each team in the same group will play twice, while the teams in the different groups will play each other once.

2. Next, the teams ranked 3rd and 4th in the points table will play against each other.
3. The winner of this match plays against the team who lost in the first qualifier.
4. Lastly, the finals follow the winner of the last qualifying match against the first qualifier.
