Let\u2019s face it!\nThe Coronavirus thwarted holiday plans for many of us. However, now that the\nMinistry of Civil Aviation has lifted restrictions on domestic flying, you can\nresume your post-lockdown holiday plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, before\nmaking a new plan, check if you were owed a refund from a previous booking and\nif it has hit your bank account. Regulatory authorities had instructed airlines\nto refund the total fare without levying any cancellation charges. However,\nthis applies only to airline tickets booked during the first lockdown period –\nfrom 25.03.20 to 14.04.20 for travel between 25.03.20 and 03.05.20. Airlines\nwere asked to return the money no later than 3 weeks from the date of\ncancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n Air India\n <\/td>\n Starting 25th<\/sup>\n May 2020, domestic flights have resumed. Until further notice, International\n flights will remain suspended till 30th<\/sup> November 2020.\n <\/td>\n Those who had\n booked Air India tickets for a journey between 23rd<\/sup> March 2020 and\n 31st<\/sup> May 2020 were given the option to book available flights\n between 25th<\/sup> May 2020 and 24th<\/sup> August 2020 in the same\n class, without any additional charges.\n  \n Tickets dated\n between 25th<\/sup> May 2020 and 31st<\/sup> May 2020, and issued\n after 22nd<\/sup> May 2020, are eligible for a total refund.\n <\/td><\/tr>
\n IndiGo\n Airlines\n <\/td>\n Starting 25th<\/sup>\n May 2020, domestic flights have resumed. Until further notice, International\n flights will remain suspended till 30th<\/sup> November 2020.\n <\/td>\n The booking\n amount for cancelled flights may be used again in the form of credit. The\n credit shall be valid only for the same passenger, for one year from the date\n of issuance.\n <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
