And for office-goers, if there is no significant\nincrease in commuting times, then looking beyond metros is a sensible option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously, the biggest benefit is low&nbsp;property prices. A lower EMI can mean savings of lacs of rupees and you also get a shot at prepaying the home loan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But not everything can be looked\nthrough the lens of financial mathematics. Smaller cities offer better peace of\nmind due to their comparatively lower pace. What about those who just buy properties as investments? In their case, the major concern is&nbsp;whether the areas beyond metros will develop in line with metros or not. But having said that, the profit from investments will be very high if development goes on in the expected manner.
