Vivo has gained immense popularity in the market in a very short time with its stylish range of phones. The rumours about the release of a new smartphone, Vivo S5 have been hovering around social media for some days now. The company\u2019s brand ambassador, Cai Xukun has now officially confirmed the launch of the device by posting a short video teaser of the phone on the popular Chinese website, Weibo. With the launch of S5, Vivo is aiming to strengthen its grasp on the mid-range market, largely dominated by Xiaomi. S5 will be the third phone in the S-series line-up after Vivo S1 and S1 Pro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diamond-like camera <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vivo smartphones are known for their camera innovation, and the upcoming S5 is expected to take the camera experience to a whole new level. As spotted in the promo video, the phone has a peculiar camera setup on its back. Vivo S5 will feature four sensors arranged in a diamond-shaped module. While the details of the sensors are still unavailable, the phone will most likely feature 48MP+ 8MP+ 5MP + 2MP sensors at the back. With the 32MP selfie camera, you can capture photos in varied lights. The tagline of the phone, \u2018illuminate your beauty\u2019, hints at yet another camera-centric smartphone with plenty of photo editing features like AI beautification, portrait photography, pro mode, live photos, and many more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unique design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teaser reveals that Vivo S5 features a glass body with a unique gradient finish. Like its predecessors, Vivo S5 too is expected to be launched in many attractive colour variants. It is also being speculated that the phone will sport an in-display fingerprint scanner that allows users to unlock the device in a fraction of a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Affordable Price<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vivo S5 will likely be a mid-range smartphone like other S-series smartphones. The expected price in India is Rs 18,990 for the 4GB+ 128GB storage variant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Releasing Soon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wait is almost over! The Chinese manufacturer released a video teaser and a poster on Weibo to confirm the phone\u2019s launch. Vivo S5 will launch in China on 14th November. Surprisingly, competitor brand, Xiaomi will unveil its new smartphone, Mi Note 10 on the same day. As of now, we do not have any confirmation from the company on S5\u2019s launch in India. But considering S1\u2019s success, we would not be surprised if Vivo S5 makes its debut in the country on the same date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
