The Hong Kong brand, Infinix is out to make its mark in the highly competitive smartphone market with the launch of its new smartphone, Infinix Hot 8. Camera

Let’s start with the most sought-after feature of a phone. Infinix Hot 8 has a vertically stacked triple camera setup with a 13MP f1.8 main shooter. In addition to this, there is a 2 megapixels depth helper and a dedicated low-light sensor. Hot 8 also has an LED flash on the back. The daylight images have excellent colours and offer a good contrast. The portrait mode works well too. In fact, the 13 megapixel takes pretty impressive images for a budget-friendly phone and delivers excellent subject separation. Infinix Hot 8 also has an 8 megapixels selfie camera that comes with an autofocus detection feature.

Performance

Infinix Hot 8 is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 4 GB RAM. The performance is great as compared to other phones in the same price range. It is dependable for multitasking and games run smoothly without any signs of heating or system lag. You also get an internal storage of 64 GB with the option to expand up to 256 GB via microSD card. Infinix Hot 8 runs on XOS 5.0 based on Android Pie.

Design

Infinix Hot 8 is built of plastic which offers a nice shape and grip when holding the phone. The back of the phone has tapered edges on all sides. One of the most functional aspects of the phone is that it comes with a multi-card slot, one for a microSD card and two for dual sim cards.

Display

Infinix Hot 8 has a 6.52-inch tall screen which makes watching videos and playing games a superb experience. The 20:9 aspect ratio of the phone is another interesting feature. In fact, it is the only phone in the price segment to offer a screen to body ratio of more than ninety percent. Additionally, the 720 x1600 pixels screen resolution delivers sharp and clear images.

Battery

Infinix Hot 8 offers an excellent battery life. With a large 5,000 mAh battery, the company touts that Hot 8 can last up to three days with intelligent AI power management. The phone offers a standby time of 26 days.

Price and Release Date

The phone is already listed on Flipkart for sale at a price of Rs 6,999 in India. Infinix Hot 8 will go on sale on 12 September 2019 in the country.
