It’s official! The world’s most premium smartphone brand, Apple has unveiled its next-generation smartphones; iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The launch event was streamed live on YouTube from the Steve Jobs Theatre in California. The iPhone 11 trio is packed with a plethora of new features, including a triple rear camera array and a powerful processor. One of the greatest strengths of all Apple products has always been its software. But with this launch, Apple hopes to focus on another important aspect i.e. the price!  

Let’s check out what makes the iPhone 11 special.

Design  

Apple is known for producing sleek and iconic designs and the iPhone 11 fits perfectly into this description. It is being touted as the most gorgeous looking iPhone ever. At a glance, the phone looks just like the iPhone XR- both have 6.1-inch screens and bodies made of aluminium and glass. But the iPhone 11 also has a protruding spot for the cameras at the back. The new phone is available in purple, black, green, white, yellow, and red.

Display

In a market full of notch-less phones, Apple has chosen to stick to the notch and OLED screen for their new phone. The iPhone 11 will, however, sport a large display over its predecessor, the iPhone XS Max. It’s a dream come true for those who love a large display.  

Camera 

The iPhone 11 is equipped with dual-lenses, unlike the iPhone Pro and Pro Max, which have three lenses each. The phone features a 12 megapixels primary sensor and another 12 megapixels sensor to shoot wide-angle photos. The brand promises the highest video quality ever seen on an iPhone. The iPhone 11 also features next-generation smart HDR and a new night mode that automatically brightens photos in low-light situations. The shots were taken in night-mode show an excellent level of brightness and detail and give a tough competition to Apple’s rival, Google Pixel 3. Apple has also upgraded the front camera with a 12-megapixel sensor and a slow-motion feature.

Fastest Processor and Battery

The new iPhone 11 is powered by Apple’s latest A13 Bionic chip, which the company touts as its fastest processor ever. The new combo of CPU/GPU assures a faster and smoother performance. Apple claims that the new A13 Bionic chip works twenty percent faster than its predecessor A12, and the QUALCOMM snapdragon. The new iPhone 11 also offers an hour extra of battery life than its predecessor iPhone XR and supports wireless charging.

Water Resistance 

The newly launched phone flaunts a water-resistant glass with the highest rating of IP68. It can withstand accidental submerge up to 2 meters for thirty minutes.

Price and Release Date

Apple iPhone 11 is priced at Rs. 64,900 in India for the base 64GB variant. The phone is also available in 128GB and 256GB variants that will cost Rs 69,900 and Rs. 79,900 respectively. The sales will begin from September 27, 2019. With the release date nearing, the wait is almost over!
