After the success of Z-series, Vivo just launched U10 under an all-new U series on September 24. The phone is exclusively available for retail on Amazon India alongside the company’s website Vivo e-store. Vivo U10 is specifically designed for the price-conscious youth, who look out for advanced features without having to drill a hole in their pocket. Here’s all you need to know.

Design and Display

The phone is available in two irresistible colours- Electric Blue and Thunder Black. Vivo U10’s front panel looks trending with a tiny notch and minimal bezels that offer an 81.91% screen to body ratio. Flip to the back, and you have a polycarbonate back, with a glossy gradient finish. You will also find a vertical camera panel, a fingerprint scanner, and a Vivo logo at the bottom. Vivo U10 has a 6.35-inch IPS LCD with a waterdrop notch and a screen resolution of 720 x 1544 pixels. 

Camera

Vivo U10 features a triple rear camera setup. Beginning with the sensors, the primary rear camera includes a 13 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, paired with a 16mm super-wide 8 MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, and finally a 2 MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The phone offers standard camera features like night mode, LED flash, HDR, and Panorama. If you are a selfie-lover, U10’s 16 Megapixel front camera delivers stunning photo and video quality.

 Performance

Vivo U10 is loaded with powerful components to give you a smooth performance without any hiccups.  The phone is packed with Snapdragon 665 processor and it comes with the multi-turbo feature for faster load time. The phone’s top model has a 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage, expandable up to an additional 256 GB. Vivo U10 runs on Android 9 Pie based on the company’s Funtouch OS 9 just like all other recently launched Vivo phones. U10 is a millennial phone with a dedicated ultra-game mode for a surreal gaming experience.  

Battery

The battery life is one of the biggest attractions of the phone. Vivo U10 is packed with a huge 5000 mAh battery that supports an 18W fast charging. As per the brand’s claims, the battery can either last up to 12 hours of continuous YouTube, or fifteen hours of social media browsing, or seven hours of PUBG. Not just this, the phone also delivers an uninterrupted talk time of 4.5 hours with a 10-minute charge.

Price

Vivo U10 was launched in three variants. The price starts at Rs 8,990 and goes up to Rs 10,990. The phone will first go on sale on Amazon India as part of the Grand India festival sale starting on 29 September 2019.
