Nubia Z18S is rumoured to be launched on November 7, 2019

Just last year, Nubia’s parent company, ZTE launched, Axon M, a phone with two screens that merged to form one huge square display. Getting on the bandwagon of dual-screen phones, Nubia is gearing up to launch Z18S in India soon. The smartphone is being speculated to feature two different screens on the front and back! Design and Display

When it comes to the look of the phone, expectations from Nubia are naturally high and the company never fails to surprise users with its modern designs. Nubia Z18S draws a lot of attention to its eye-catching panel coupled with a sleek design. Moreover, the curvy edges and compact size make it easy to manage with a single hand.

The front sports ultra-thin bezels and a notch-free display. The phone’s dual-display is one of its most stunning features. The main rear-display features a gigantic 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. We can only imagine what a treat it would be to watch movies and videos on such a big display. The second screen comes with a 5.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels.

Camera

As per the leaked images and videos, there will be a dual-camera setup but the phone might not feature a front camera. Z18S will have a primary sensor of 24 megapixels and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor. The smartphone’s camera can click good photos with accurate details in bright and sunny outdoors. The phone is also equipped with many photo editing and enhancing features like autofocus and the current favourite, Optical Image Stabilisation that allows you to shoot videos shake-free. One of the main purposes of the dual-screen is to let people use the rear cameras for selfies and video calling.

Performance

Under the hood, Nubia Z18S is loaded with Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with a 6 GB RAM. The processor is said to include a liquid cooling feature to prevent any sort of heating of the phone. Z18S will be available in two variants: one with a 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage and another with an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Both the variants are expandable up to 256 GB with a microSD card. Z18S will run on a custom Nubia UI based on Android version 8.1 with standard customization options for a smooth and fast phone experience.

Battery and Connectivity

The phone comes with a fantastic battery life. Nubia Z18S is fuelled by a 3800 mAh battery which can easily last for over a day of moderate usage. The phone has a dual SIM 4G support slot.

Price and Release Date

Nubia Z18S is expected to cost Rs. 32,990 for the base variant. It will be launched in India on Nov 07, 2019.
