Nokia 8.1 Plus has a sizable 6.22-inch IPS LCD HD display that has a stunning visual appeal. It has a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,210 pixels and a pixel density of about 410 PPI which provides for an edge to edge immersive user experience. The Corning Gorilla glass ensures the phone is scratch resistant.

Camera

When it comes to the camera, Nokia 8.1 Plus has two rear dual cameras with 16MP and 20MP lenses. This combination beats low-light conditions and enhances the quality of images. The front camera has a 20 MP lens, which is a huge resolution for a front camera. It is great for clicking selfies at any time of the day. The photos captured by the phone can be further enhanced with inbuilt effects and camera modes.

Processor


Nokia 8.1 Plus is powered by an octa-core processor and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The phone runs on the Android Oreo 8.1 version and is coupled with a RAM of 6GB. This enhances the phone’s ability to conveniently multitask and play high-power games. The graphics of the phone are stunning due to the Adreno 616 GPU.

Network and connectivity

The device has a range of connectivity options and supports 4G VoLTE in both its sims. The only catch is that the phone has a hybrid slot. The traditional networks like Wi-Fi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, A-GPS, and Glonass are inbuilt in the phone. The USB Type-C port provides for fast charging and the phone can last a long time.

Battery

The phone runs on a 3,700mAh Li-ion battery and has an internal memory of 128GB, which can be further expanded up to a whopping 400 GB of storage capacity. The phone is expected to be launched in two variants – blue and black. The estimated price of Nokia 8.1 Plus is around Rs 34,990. For the premium features locked in the phone, it is value for money.
