Ever since Xiaomi acquired Meitu, the company has launched not one, nor two but three camera phones under its CC9 series in China- Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9 Meitu. Meitu is a popular Chinese brand known for making post selfie beautification apps. The Mi CC9 smartphone is designed keeping in mind the current generation’s craze for selfies. The said phone will offer everything that Xiaomi is well known for. Let’s take a close look at its features.

Design and Display

Xiaomi phones are known for their modern design and Mi CC9 is no exception. The glossy gradient rear glass panel is a treat to the eyes. The triple rear camera and the LED flash is well positioned on the top left of the device. The phone will come in three colours – blue planet, pearl white and grey.

Mi CC9 will come with a 6.39 inches display that will have full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Moreover, the AMOLED display will offer brighter and vivid images that are sure to impress. The phone is almost bezel-less with 91% screen to body ratio, thanks to the waterdrop notch display. Also, it is well secured with the super-responsive on-screen fingerprint sensor.

Camera

One of the best-selling points of Xiaomi Mi CC9 is its triple rear camera. You can be assured of captivating photos no matter where you are. The 48-megapixels primary rear camera is for shooting regular photos, while the secondary 8-megapixels lenses capture wide-angle photos and the 2-megapixel sensor supports depth sensing. The rear camera is supported with some outstanding features like slow motion, portrait mode and the unique feature-Mimoji, which even Xiaomi‘s flagship phones don’t have. Mi CC9 will also sport a32-megapixel selfie shooter to capture the unique beauty in you.

Performance

Xiaomi Mi CC9 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and runs on the latest MIUI based on Android 9 pie. Also, the 616 Adreno GPU works 30% faster than the previous GPU. It can easily handle most of the highest graphics game without any problems. It has a RAM of 6GB and an internal storage capacity of 64GB that can be expanded up to 256GB using a micro SD card.

Battery and connectivity

Xiaomi Mi CC9 is equipped with a non-removable 4,030 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to charge from nineteen to hundred per cent and can easily last for one full day. The 4G enabled device will come with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C.

Price and Release Date

Considering the success of the CC9 series in China, the phone is expected to be launched in India soon. If you are looking for a mid-budget phone with impressive features, then Xiaomi Mi CC9 is worth waiting for. The phone is expected to cost around Rs 18,000.
