Chinese phone maker Vivo is gearing up to launch another phone in the mid-budget segment – currently dominated by Xiaomi and Redmi phones. Vivo Y19 will be an upgraded version of the Vivo Y series. It will compile the best features of every Y series phone. In other words, it will be a perfectly packed phone at a relatively affordable price. Read on to know about its price and specifications. 

Design 

Vivo phones have never failed to impress us with their designs. No wonder stars keep endorsing them. This Vivo phone too is attractive with a glass-like display coupled with a beautiful waterdrop notch. On the rear, the phone accommodates a triple camera setup along with an LED flash. Also, the thin bezels and lightweight of the phone make it more desirable.

Display 

Vivo Y19 boasts an IPS LCD screen with 6.4-inches diagonal and an aspect ratio of 19:3:9. Plus, with a screen to body ratio of eighty-nine percent, and a screen resolution of 720 x 1544 pixels, it delivers good quality display with vibrant colours and adequate brightness.

Camera

Vivo Y19 has a main 13-megapixel camera accompanied by an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle camera. Also, there is a 5-megapixel camera used for depth sensing. The phone comes with stunning camera features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. Coming to the selfie camera, it uses a 25 megapixels sensor with an f/2.0 lens supported by the AI face beauty mode which allows users to capture even delicate facial details with clear results.

Performance 

In terms of performance, Vivo Y19 is powered with MediaTek Helio P35 chip and an octa-core processor with 2.3 GHz frequency. The processor works well in low-light conditions and comes with multi-frame noise reduction and clear-image zoom technology. Furthermore, the phone will run on Android 9 pie.

Vivo Y19 offers 4 GB of RAM along with 64 GB of internal storage that can store unlimited files, notes, documents, pictures, videos, games, etc. It will also support microSD expansion up to 256 GB.

Battery 

The smartphone promises outstanding battery life, thanks to the powerful 5,000 mAh battery. The phone can easily last for over a day with standard usage, and around two days if used moderately. Furthermore, the phone supports 18W dual engine fast charging technology that helps not only in quick charging but protects the device from overheating.

Security feature

Off late, technology has advanced to offer faster and more accurate sensors. Vivo Y19 uses such modern technologies that increase fingerprint accuracy by fifty percent and unlock your device instantly.

Connectivity 

Connectivity options include Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS and dual sim slot with both sims supporting 4G VoLTE.

Price and Release Date

Although there is no information about the release date from the company, it is speculated that Vivo Y19 will launch in October 2019. Considering the price trends of Vivo phones, Y19 can be priced at Rs 17,990 in India.
