Tata Capital > Blog > Bhuiyan Chhattisgarh Land Records
Ever since India’s digital boom in 2016, the government has been deadset on digitalising most official processes. From accessing digital Aadhar cards to applying for government IDs online, we are now reaping the benefits of digitalized India.
Land records are one of the numerous documents that have been digitalized for our convenience. Most of the states in India now have an online portal that enables you to digitize land records within a few minutes.
Chhattisgarh is also not lagging in this regard. On the contrary, the Cg Bhuiyan portal has been excelling in its services, making life easier for the Chhattisgarhi folks.
If you have just discovered this revolutionary initiative– worry not! This article will be your go-to guide, answering everything you need to know about Bhuiyan cg nic in Chhattisgarh.
Chhattisgarh’s CG Bhuiya portal marks a significant leap in digitising land records across its 18 districts. An initiative that began in August 2017, the Cg Bhuiyan portal was a collaborative effort between the state government and the National Informatics Centre (NIC). Since its inception, the website has transformed the way citizens access land-related information.
CG Bhuiya offers a detailed online repository of land holdings, featuring an extensive record of land maps and specific documents, like the B-I Naksha Khasra and P-II Khatauni. Owing to its intuitive interface, users can effortlessly view and download their desired records in PDF format.
This initiative serves as a cornerstone in digital governance, eliminating the need for physical visits to local administrative offices. Its effectiveness was duly recognised, with the CG Bhuiya initiative receiving the esteemed IMC Digital Awards, in 2021.
The Cg Bhuiyan portal offers a range of services for individuals residing in Chattisgarh. Here are some of its most-used features:
1. Khasra (P-II) and Khatauni (B-I) Details: This service provides comprehensive data on land parcels (Khasra) and ownership records (Khatauni). It allows users to access specific plot information, including size, location, and legal status, aiding in land transactions and verification processes.
2. Village Maps: This feature offers detailed maps of villages in Chhattisgarh, showcasing land divisions, plot boundaries, and geographical features. This visual representation has served a key purpose in resolving boundary disputes.
3. Details of Land Based on Khasra Number: Users can retrieve specific information about a land parcel using its Khasra number. This includes the plot’s size, ownership history, and current status.
4. Information about the Land Owner: This service provides detailed information about landowners, including their names, contact details, and ownership history.
5. Details of Land Lease: This feature offers information on land leased within the state, including lease terms, lessee details, and land usage. It’s useful for ensuring proper lease management and monitoring land usage.
6. Land Conversion Details: This service provides information on land converted from one use to another, such as agricultural to residential.
7. Land Mutation Records: This feature records changes in land ownership due to sale, inheritance, or gift. The service streamlines the process of updating land records, minimizing instances of land disputes.
To sign up on the Bhuiyan cg nic portal, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the Chhattisgarh Bhuiyan official website (https://bhuiyan(dot)cg(dot)nic(dot)in/)
Step 2: Click the ‘Register’ button on the homepage.
Step 3: Upon clicking, a registration page will open. Here, enter your Aadhaar Card Number and mobile phone number.
Step 4: A one-time password will be sent to your phone to verify your registration.
Step 5: Once registered, you will receive a username and password. These credentials will be vital for future logins.
If you have a land in India, chances are that you have heard the terms Khasra and Khatauni number. These terms refer to specific land records and documents related to land ownership and agricultural land management.
Although the terms are often used interchangeably, they differ in their significance. The Khasra number is a unique alphanumeric identifier assigned to a specific piece of agricultural land within a village or revenue estate. It serves as a reference number to identify and distinguish individual land parcels.
On the other hand, Khatauni is the number allocated to the owner of a specific agricultural land. It includes data about landowners, land area, land use, crops grown, and revenue assessment for each landholding.
If you wish to view your Khasra (Denoted by P-II) and Khatauni (Denoted by B-I) documents, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit Chhattisgarh Bhuiyan’s official website (https://bhuiyan(dot)cg(dot)nic(dot)in/).
Step 2: Select ‘B1/PII’ under the ‘Nagrik Seva’ tab.
Step 3: Upon clicking, a new tab will open, where you must enter your district, village, and tehsil name.
Step 4: After filling in the necessary details, enter your Khasra number along with a captcha code.
Step 5: Upon entering the correct Khasra code, your property details will be displayed.
To access the land map or Bhu-Naksha on the Cg Bhuiyan web portal, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit Chhattisgarh Bhuiyan’s official website (https://bhuiyan(dot)cg(dot)nic(dot)in/).
Step 2: Click on ‘Bhu-Naksha’ under the ‘Online Seva’ tab.
Step 3: Upon clicking, a new tab will open, where you need to enter your district, tehsil, revenue inspectors (RI), and village name.
Step 4: A map will be displayed on the page, showing all the registered Khatauni numbers.
Step 5: If you click on your desired Khatauni number on the map, you can access its specific P-II and B-I details.
The Cg Bhuiyan web portal has redefined land record management in Chhattisgarh. Easy access to Khasra, Khatauni details, land maps, and other information has empowered citizens and reduced the burden of visiting local offices for nominal queries.
