Known for its impressive camera qualities and appealing designs, the Guangdong-based smartphone manufacturer, OPPO Electronics has stirred the Indian smartphone market with its innovative yet affordable Reno series. OPPO’s groundbreaking phone photography technology has helped the Reno series standout amongst the rest. Reno 3 Pro is expected to be the latest edition in the Reno series. The phone is likely to hit the Indian markets in the latter half of February 2020 and is expected to offer a lot of high ended features at a competitive price. Here’s all you need to know about the phone.

Display and performance

OPPO Reno 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC processor and runs on Android 10. The phone boasts of a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a dual punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera, offering a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2400 pixels. It is expected to come with a density of 405 PPI coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and phone unlocking.

Reno 3 pro is rumored to be processed by an Octa-core Kryo processor consisting of a 2.96GHz single-core, a 2.4GHz single-core, and a 1.8GHz Hexa Core. It is also expected to have 2 different variants – 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal memory and 12 GB RAM with 256 GB internal memory. The device promises great performance along with an amazing viewing experience.

Camera

The brand is building on its photography prowess; Reno 3 is expected to come with expert camera credentials that would revolutionize the Indian smartphone industry. It is also rumored to house the world’s first 44MP dual selfie cameras. The dual punch-hole selfie camera packs a 32 MP lens. Equipped with Sony’s sensor, Reno 3 Pro’s quad-camera setup on the back consists of a 48 MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13 MP telephoto lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP sensor.

Battery life

Battery life is expected to be another strong area for the smartphone, as it is likely to come packed with a 4025mAh Li-ion battery along with a VOOC 4.0 30W fast-charging support via a Type-C USB. With such a huge battery backup and impressive charging features, you are unlikely to run out of battery often.

Connectivity

It is believed that Reno 3 will not only support 4G connectivity but also be compatible with dual-mode 5G connectivity. The smartphone is expected to provide its users with a wide range of connectivity options such as 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and NFC.

Design

Reno 3 would boast of a sleek and smart design, with just 7.7mm of expected girth. It is likely to be available in attractive colors such as black, blue, white, and aura blue.
