IQOO 3 to Launch in India on 25th February

IQOO 3 is set to introduce many firsts in the Indian market. Manufactured by the Chinese giant IQOO, the phone will not only be the first from the company to launch in India, but also the first smartphone in the nation to support 5G. The company has been incessantly promoting teasers of its new offering, and we have a fair idea about its specifications. Let’s have a look at some features that set the phone apart from its contemporaries.

Processor

IQOO 3 is going to be the first smartphone in the Indian market to run on the top-notch Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. This will vastly improve the phone’s performance, enhancing the speed, gaming experience, and the photo quality provided by the phone. An Octa-core processor coupled with 6 GB LPDDR5 RAM is also set to power the device. 

IQOO 3 5G network

Display

At a sizeable 6.44 inches, the phone’s screen is going to be very comfortable for the eyes. The full HD+ Super AMOLED display will come with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, which is quite advanced for phones in the same price-range as IQOO 3.

Camera

Not only a quad camera, but IQOO 3 is expected to offer a whopping 64 MP primary shooter. The other lenses in the quad-cam include 13 MP, 13 MP and 2 MP. You can expect the quality of pictures taken on the device to be on the same scale as those of any leading digital camera in the market. The LED flash feature along with dedicated telephoto, ultra-wide depth sensors are additional features of the camera. In addition to this, the phone also has a single punch-hole front camera that will have 16 MP capacity, enabling users to capture sharp details in selfies.

Battery and other features

Packed with a fast-charging 4440 mAh battery, the phone is not going to die on you at least for a whole day, if not more. The phone is expected to have a 55W variety of fast charging technology, which is quite ahead of its competitors in the Indian market. IQOO 3 is also touted to have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is rightfully being called future-ready as it will run on Android 10 and support 5G networks. Speculations suggest that the phone is going to have UFS 3.1 storage along with 128 GB or 256 GB internal storage capacity.

Expected price and launch

The launch has been confirmed in the Chinese social network Weibo, and the price is expected to be below Rs. 35,990/-. This brings IQOO 3 in the mid-range zone of smartphones available in India. The company has officially announced on its twitter account that IQOO 3 will be launched in the Indian markets on 25th February at 12 noon. The phone will be available for purchase only through the e-commerce website Flipkart or via IQOO.com, the official webpage of the manufacturer. Invites for the phone are already being shared and you can bring home the new IQOO 3 with Tata Capital consumer durable loans.
