Day 1: Auckland

Arrive at the airport and reach your hotel. After check-in, embark on your sightseeing tour. Visit the volcanic Mount Eden that offers a panoramic view of the cityscape. Proceed to Harbour Bridge, explore Wenderholm Regional Park and be amazed at West Coast’s black-sand beaches.

Day 2: Auckland

Take a ferry ride to Devonport. Swim at the stunning Cheltenham Beach and enjoy your dinner at the Sky Tower that features a revolving restaurant. 

Day 3: Travel to Rotorua

View fish underwater yet stay dry from the undersea walkway and enjoy the beguiling Antarctic Encounter and Penguin Encounter. Scout the sets of Lord of the Rings at the amazing Hobbiton and stroll at the Redwoods Treewalk.

Day 4: Rotorua

Learn about the fascinating Maori culture, feel the thrill of whitewater rafting, or indulge in a relaxing soak at the geothermal pools. Take a helicopter ride to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the volcanic cone Mount Maunganui and nearby islands.  

Day 5: Queenstown

Return to Auckland and fly to Queensland, overlooking the restful Lake Wakatipu and the majestic mountains of the Remarkables Range. Enjoy a lazy gondola ride in the afternoon at Skyline Queenstown, exploring the picturesque locales.

Day 6: Queenstown

Enjoy a helicopter or floatplane ride to Milford Sound in the jagged Fiordland in the dramatic Southern Alps. Feast your eyes on waterfalls cascading down sheer cliffs, rugged mountains soaring up from the sea, frolicking fur seals, and dolphins. Return to Queensland, the world’s adventure-sports capital, and feel the rush of adrenaline with bungee-jumping or riding jet-boats along Shotover River.

Day 7: Queenstown

Fly up the Fox Glacier in a helicopter and land on ice. Travel south over Wanaka to reach Otago region and experience the brilliant Pinot Noir wine. 

Day 8: Mackenzie Region

Drive to the International Dark Sky Reserve, Mackenzie Region, to enjoy a stellar stargazing experience in the middle of magnificent mountains and gorges. 

Day 9: Aoraki/Mount Cook & Christchurch

Hike to the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, where the highest mountain of New Zealand is located. Drive to Christchurch as you take in a mesmerizing view.

Day 10: Christchurch

Explore the first settlement of British colonials. Then take a domestic flight back to Auckland and bid goodbye to the land of the Maoris as you head back home.
