After the resounding success of Note 8, Redmi is all set to launch Note 9 Pro in India this March. The Redmi Note Series is an extremely popular range, and any new release in the family is always highly anticipated. These phones are known to deliver many premium features at reasonable prices. Design

Redmi Note phones get a smooth, premium feel from its shiny glass body and Note 9 Pro is not going to be an exception. The phone has a metal frame on the sides and the back sports a gradient design to enhance the overall look of the phone.

Display

Just like its predecessors, Note 9 is also expected to retain an IPS LCD display for a great colour output and comfortable viewing angles. The IPS LCD screen also hints towards a lower price as compared to phones offering an AMOLED display. The screen size is expected to be 6.5 inches with bezel-less 1080 x 2400 px display, sporting a water drop notch for housing a selfie snapper.  

Processor

For the price, Note 9 is expected to pack quite a punch with the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Octa-Core Processor with 2.2 GHz frequency, paired with a 6 GB RAM. The phone also offers amazing new features for fans of mobile games with the ability to seamlessly manage heavy graphics and an overall improved gaming performance. Some speculations also reveal that the processor is likely to go up to 730G. The phone is expected to run on Android v10 Q with the company’s custom MIUI on top.

Camera 

The rear camera is expected to be a quad-cam setup with a depth sensor, a wide-angle lens, and a macro camera to facilitate clicking close-up shots. The principal shooter is likely to be the high-tech 64MP Sony IMX686 and may sport the massive 108MP sensor, enabling the capture and printing of breathtaking landscapes. The auxiliary cameras are projected to be 8 + 2 + 2 MP. The front camera has a 20 MP capacity, that will it make it easy to capture selfies under low-light conditions. Users can also expect standard features like LED flash, digital zoom, face detection, and touch to focus. 

Battery and storage

The device will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery with fast charging technology. The in-built storage capacity is touted to be 64 GB and the storage is expected to be expandable up to 256 GB. 

Redmi Note 9 is expected to have similar features as most of its competitors in the market. It will support dual Nano SIMs and 4G connectivity. The phone will also have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor at the back, and a face unlock technology.
