The latest in the lineup of budget phones in India, LG W10 Alpha comes with features based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at an attractive price of Rs 9999. The phone offers outstanding specifications to suit everyday needs. Let us have a closer look at the features on this latest offering from LG, the South Korean tech giant.

Design

LG W10 Alpha looks attractive with the new proprietary 2D Arc design. The phone has a notch at the top of the display which looks just like a waterdrop notch, but the company has named it, “Raindrop Notch”. The device is currently only available in Black.

The 5.71-inch FullVision HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels has an aspect ratio of a whopping 19:9. The phone provides a good reading and surfing experience, as you need to scroll less. The Octa-Core Unisoc SC9863A SoC linked to a 3 GB RAM drives the device with a frequency of 1.6 GHz. The company has made no compromise with performance and speed. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie.

The most remarkable feature on W10 is the 3,450mAh battery that can deliver over 12 hours of VoLTE call time, support music playback for over 29 hours, and video playback for more than 5 hours. As per manufacturer claims, it can also offer a standby time of up to 10 days.

Camera

The phone comes with a single 8MP rear camera that is packed with several AI-powered enhancement features like face beauty, scenes, filters, and the famous Bokeh effect. The device provides 1080p video recording for lifelike videos and finds the optimal camera mode on its own. The camera also offers features like autofocus and LED flash, and Google lens enabled visual search. The phone’s front-facing camera offers an 8 MP lens and features an AI beautify mode to help you capture the perfect selfie.

Storage and Connectivity

LG W10 Alpha comes with a 32 GB in-built storage. This is the only memory variant available as of now, but more variants are expected to be launched soon. The memory is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot. The phone supports dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and WiFi.

LG W10 Alpha is a sleek and handy device, weighing only 170 grams and measuring 147.3 x 71 x 8.9 mm. It comes with a proximity sensor, a micro-USB, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The front camera sensor enables AI facial unlock authentication similar to its competitors. The company states that the facial unlock feature utilizes 128 identification points and unlocks the phone within 0.3 seconds, offering comprehensive security for your device.
