Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro to be Available Soon in India Starting from Rs. 27900

About a month ago, Apple launched the-11 inch and 12-inch iPad Pro. And now the company has gone ahead and released the Magic Keyboard, an additional accessory that is merging the fluid software of Apple iPads and keyboarded laptops. While not much is known about the exact date of its availability in India, some of the specifications and the estimated price of the Magic Keyboard have been released.

Dynamic design

The Magic Keyboard has a sleek and portable design of 1mm and is magnetically attachable to the base of the iPad Pro. Its viewing angles can be adjusted up to 130 degrees for ease of use, giving it sort of a floating and centrally levered look. Additionally, when the Magic Keyboard is not in use, it automatically disconnects itself from iPad Pro and protects any audio data from being misused.

Integrated trackpad

With an integrated trackpad for multi-touch support, users can navigate items and apps with increased efficiency. The enhanced cursor control abilities and backlit keys ensure you can multitask with ease irrespective of the surroundings. Typing feels much more responsive, thanks to the use of the scissor mechanism. What’s also interesting is how the trackpad has layouts for over 30 world languages, ranging from European languages like French to Asian ones like Japanese (Apple’s way of acknowledging its wide demographic!).

The Magic Keyboard has a USB Type C port with ample space for attaching accessories like external drives and displays. The Keyboard is also customizable and has mouse support as well. Apple confirmed this feature in a related statement. Moreover, the Magic Keyboard’s compatibility with a wide variety of previous generations of Apple iPad Pro is impressive. Estimated price

For the 11-inch iPad Pro, the Magic Keyboard is priced at Rs 27,900, and for the 12-inch one, the price is hiked to Rs 31,900. On its own, the Magic Keyboard may not be that pricey, but it is bought in conjunction with the iPad Pro that costs around Rs 71,900 for the 11-inch model and Rs 89,000 for the 12-inch one (with Wi-fi connectivity only). The cost of purchase increases significantly for the Wi-fi plus LTE models of iPad Pro and is priced around Rs 85,900 for the 11-inch model and Rs 1,03,900 for the 12 inch-one.
