Motorola was recently in the news for launching their first-ever quad-camera smartphone and now, a new leak from XDA-Developers suggests that the company is planning to launch its first pop-up selfie camera smartphone – Moto G8. Camera

Moto G8’s most enticing feature is its rear camera. Although the brand has not made any official announcements, leaked reports suggest that G8 will have a triple camera set up, featuring a 48 megapixels primary sensor, 16 megapixels ultra-wide sensor, and a depth sensor. The phone will also have a 25 megapixels selfie camera to capture even the most delicate facial details. Moto G8 also possesses features like the portrait mode, smart composition, and the night mode for brilliant photos that are on par with other professional cameras in the market.

Design and Display

Moto G8 will have a full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080 and an aspect ratio of 19:9. While there is nothing official about the screen size, G8 is likely to sport a 6.30-inch IPS LCD. There have also been speculations about a notch-free design with thin side bezels and a small chin displaying a Motorola logo. Overall, Moto G8 has a modern and sleek design. It is expected to be the thinnest of all the G-series phones, making it easy to use with one hand or fit into the tiniest pockets. Price and Release Date

Moto G8 is likely to launch alongside Moto G8 Plus on September 28, 2019, in India. The phone is expected to cost Rs 17,999 and will come in two variants – black and gold.

Moto G8 is equipped with a powerful 3500 mAh battery to last a full day. G8 also supports dual sims with 4G Volte, GPS, Bluetooth V5.0, and USB Type-C charging.

Performance

As per the XDA reports, Moto G8 has a Snapdragon 665 processor SoC, so you can expect marginal updates in power efficiency, in comparison to Moto G7. G8 is supported by the powerful Adreno 512 GPU for the best ever gaming experience. The phone will come in two versions- 3 GB RAM with an internal storage of 32 GB and 4 GB RAM with an internal storage of 64 GB. You can also further expand it up to 512 GB via a microSD card.
