Nokia 9 Pureview has a 3,320 mAh battery, which is quite standard for most smartphones today. It stands out with its QuickCharge 3.0 technology which enables faster charging. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC Octa-core processor with 6 GB RAM, making it powerful enough to run most games and multitask efficiently.

Nokia 9 Pureview has a shiny, metal-finish back, with a distinctly modern vibe. The display consists of hardened Gorilla Glass 5, so it is unlikely to break due to short drops. It features the fairly new under-the-glass fingerprint recognition technology. However, it often fails to recognise fingerprints even after multiple attempts.
