The Chinese smartphone makers are on a launch spree; the latest addition to the lot being OPPO’s A92, which was announced by the company on May 4. After having recently announced A52, the Chinese electronics manufacturer has laid out OPPO A92 in a mid-range budget. OPPO has previously launched multiple A-series smartphones such as A12, A92, A52 and others. Amidst such critical times, the new launches do bring the much-needed excitement.

Competitive display and viable features

The new OPPO phone is moderately sleek and weighs 192g with dimensions of 162x 75.5 x 8.9 mm. The device offers a stunning 6.5-inch wide FULL HD+ TFT-LCD display with 2400*1080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5 per cent. In the mid-range segment, this screen size is a great deal to grab.

Among other features, OPPO A92 offers the standard side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C support.

Speaking of the processor, OPPO A92 does a fair job. Even though it is powered by the two-year-old Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 11nm with Adreno 610 GPU, consumers can rest assured that the processor will provide hours of smooth, uninterrupted usage. The smartphone offers 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, externally expandable up to 256GB through a microSD card. Thus, on the storage front, there is no disappointment for the patrons.

To focus on the camera of OPPO A92, the smartphone maker has done justice by providing a marvel quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor (an f/1.7 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture), another 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture) and a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4 aperture). For selfie lovers, there is a 16MP front camera lens with an f/2.0 aperture. With such astounding and affordable camera quality, OPPO A92 might be able to win consumers in no time.
