Oppo is currently working to launch their newest addition to the famous R series- Oppo R19. It has been a year since Oppo launched the last R series phone- R17. The R19 smartphone is a significant improvement to R17 as far as the camera and performance are concerned. Here is a list of features and specifications that the phone entails.

Camera

Perhaps the most important feature in a phone today, Oppo R19 comes with a trending dual-camera setup. The main camera uses a widespread 48 megapixels sensor by Samsung Bright GM1. There is another 2 megapixels sensor which may not have a high resolution but still delivers stunning pictures. The secondary camera is ideal for taking portraits. There is also a selfie camera that uses a pop-up module. You will find an impressive 25 megapixels front shooter which can click spectacular photos even in low light.

Performance

Oppo R19 runs on Snapdragon 710 chip with high potential 2.2 GHz clock speed. It is great for gaming and has low battery consumption. On top of this, with 6 GB of RAM, the phone can handle intensive apps and games with ease. As far as the storage is concerned, R19 has an inbuilt storage of 64 GB for all files and data. There is also a dedicated MicroSD slot for expansion, in case you need more storage.

Battery and Connectivity

Oppo R19 has the same 3500 mAh battery as its predecessor R17. It can provide a long-lasting experience with a single charge. Moreover, R19 comes with a SuperVOOC flash charger that can charge the phone up to forty percent in just ten minutes. R19 has all the basic connectivity features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB for charging, and dual sim slot with both sims supporting 4G Volte, that are compatible with Reliance Jio.

Design

Oppo R19 is an artistically designed smartphone with a full view display and a glossy finish. Although Oppo has not released official pictures yet, the leaked images show that the phone does not have a fingerprint scanner on the back, which means it could come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Oppo R19 also uses a thin frame with sloping edges which make it easy to hold and handle.

Display

Oppo R19 is notch-free with little bezels on the front. It flaunts a 6.4-inches tall IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The colour reproduction is very rich and accurate. Moreover, the 19.5:9 aspect ratios ensure you have ample space for reading messages, browsing the web, or playing games. Oppo R19 uses corning gorilla glass 6 for longer durability and protection against drops.

Price and release date

Oppo R19 is expected to launch in India on September 9, 2019. The phone will be available in two colours-black and gold. There have been no announcements regarding the price, but it is expected to cost Rs 26,990.
