Realme 6 series, including Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, is set to debut in India on 5th March 2020 and bring impressive features at a budget price. Official glimpses of the upcoming Realme 6 Pro disclose some very high-end specs that are sure to create a setback for the competitors in the mid-range smartphone segment. Here are some details on what to expect.

Processor

Rumours suggest that Realme 6 Pro is fitted with an octa-core CPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, ensuring zero slowdowns of the user interface while you run multiple tasks in tandem. A 2.3 GHz CPU is fully expected, providing a seamless user experience. Paired with 8GB RAM, applications and games will run faster on this device. Realme 6 Pro is likely to be powered by Android 10 OS with Realme UI on top. And Adreno 618 GPU is expected to handle the graphics on this phone expertly.

Display

Equipped with a full HD+ display panel that refreshes at the fast rate of 90Hz, Realme 6 Pro offers a smooth viewing experience. Realme 6 Pro comes boasts of a quad-cam setup with a 64 MP primary lens. An ultra-wide-angle lens for capturing wider scenery, a macro lens to enhance the quality of close-up shots and a telephoto lens that makes long-range shooting a breeze, can be expected to accompany the primary camera. A 20X zoom is also on the list. The front display is shown to sport a pill-shaped cutout that hints at a dual selfie camera setup.

The lower variant Realme 6 is projected to feature a 4300mAh battery, and hence, Realme 6 Pro can safely be expected to pack a more powerful battery, maybe even 5000mAh, which will be sufficient to power the phone all day long. The device will support a proprietary 30W Flash Charge fast charging technology that will charge the phone from 0 to 40% within approximately fifteen minutes.

Realme 6 Pro is rumoured to come packed with 128GB of storage onboard that can be further expanded to up to 256GB with memory cards. Installing a higher number of applications and storing all your favourite photos, videos and songs will not be a problem with this expansive storage capacity.

Price and availability

Speculations peg the price of Realme 6 Pro at Rs 13,999. Post launch, you will be able to buy the phone both online and from retail outlets of preferred partners. Official renders reveal two distinct colour options for the phone, one green and the other purple.
