Several new smartphones are set to be launched this year. But Realme X50 Pro is aiming to stay one step ahead of the competition by launching what is touted to be the first 5G enabled smartphone in India. Positioned as a flagship device from Realme, the phone is expected to have some of the most up-to-date features. The highlights have already been announced on the official website. Here’s a look at the phone. 

Processor

The phone will be powered by the superlative Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with a 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM. With the latest processor under the hood, you can be assured of a top-class performance.  

Display

Realme X50 is expected to have a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with a 6.6-inch panel, for optimum comfort of viewing. The 90 HZ refresh rate will ensure a smoother user interface. The display will feature a dual punch-hole, cutout on the front to house the dual front cameras. The phone also has a built-in fingerprint sensor.

RealMe X50 Pro 5G

Camera

Invites for the launch of Realme X50 hint at a dual selfie camera housed at the front of the phone. However, there has been no official word on the resolutions yet. The phone will also carry a rear quad-camera setup with 20x zoom. The primary sensor is expected to be 64MP, accompanied by a telephoto lens, a depth sensor, and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The total number of snappers on the phone comes up to a whopping six.

Battery

Although information about the battery capacity is not available yet, teasers suggest that the phone will support the 65W Super Dart Charge fast technology. As per the company’s claims, the phone’s battery can go from 0% to 100% within 30 minutes.

Realme X50 PRo flagship phone

Connectivity

The most premium feature of the phone is its connectivity support for 5G networks. Even though the network system is not available in India at present, it is touted to be the next big thing to hit the country soon. The futuristic X50 Pro is clearly equipped to meet the needs of tomorrow. Rumors also suggest that the phone will support WiFi 6 connectivity.

Other features

The phone will run on Android 10 OS with the company’s very own Realme UI on top. The device also packs a 256 GB in-built storage with UFS 3.0 storage. There is no information on the memory’s expandability yet. 

Price and Launch date

Realme X50 Pro 5G is slated to be launched at an online-only event at New Delhi on 24th February, 2020, at 2:30pm IST. Equipped with outstanding features, Realme X50 Pro is definitely the phone of the future, as being rightly described by its manufacturers.
